Lifeguard Attendant

Monitor Bathhouse Brooklyn's pools, plunges, saunas, and wet areas while protecting guest safety and maintaining a calm, polished environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pools, hot and cold plunges, and wet areas to keep guests safe throughout service.
• Maintain visual surveillance, enforce pool and bathhouse rules respectfully, and respond calmly to emergencies.
• Keep floors, loungers, towels, amenities, and related wet-area spaces clean, dry, and guest-ready.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid plus current lifeguarding certification.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation and benefits

$22-$25 / hr
