What the work involves

Attendants keep locker rooms, showers and wet areas clean, stocked and welcoming while helping guests find their way. Locker-room roles are often advertised by gender because the spaces are separate. Spa attendants may also lead guests through the bath circuit between treatments.

Bathing-floor lifeguard attendants at bathhouses watch the pools and plunges, keep the floor dry and may open and close saunas and steam rooms.

Getting in: Many roles have no sauna requirement. Lifeguard roles require lifeguard and CPR/AED certification.
