Guest Service Coordinator

Run the front of house at Sauna House Raleigh — welcoming guests into the bathhouse, managing bookings and the flow of the space, and holding the facility to a premium standard through the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, intentional welcome and transition guests from outside into the bathhouse.
• Understand, anticipate, and accommodate guest needs, identifying first-timers, regulars, and guests needing extra care.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and bookings, and give accurate information about the rituals and treatments.
• Run check-in, check-out, and billing so the business of the visit never interrupts the experience.
• Execute opening, closing, and in-shift checklists to restore the space to a premium standard.
• Monitor and restock guest amenities throughout the shift.
• Manage and create appointments to make best use of the bathhouse space.
• Advocate for the health benefits of sauna, cold therapy, and massage, and educate nervous or curious guests.

Requirements

• Nights and weekend availability preferred.
• An eye for detail — noticing the lost guest, the fingerprint on the glass, the towel that needs folding — and acting without being told.
• A host by nature, treating the bathhouse as your own home and guests as personal invitees.
• Belief in contrast therapy and the willingness to keep studying the offering.
• Effective, empathetic communication with colleagues, management, and practitioners.

Compensation and benefits

$23 – $27 / hour
