Maintenance Technician (Full Time)
London, United Kingdom · Full-time · £34,140 / year during probation, rising to £38,068.50 / year after the six-month probation
Maintain the pools, thermal plant, and building systems at AIRE's London bathhouse, awarded London's Spa of the Year 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the swimming pools in a safe and sanitary condition, brushing and vacuuming to established procedures.
- Check and perform preventive maintenance on pumps, chlorinators, heating, and filtration equipment.
- Run day-to-day operation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems for the facility.
- Carry out small plumbing and electrical repairs and execute Operations' standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum two years working with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire-protection systems.
- Water-treatment experience highly valued; Legionella certification desirable.
- Advanced English and availability for rotating shifts, including occasional night shifts.
Compensation and benefits
£34,140 / year during probation, rising to £38,068.50 / year after the six-month probation
- Permanent contract; shifts published at least two weeks ahead and capped at 8.5 hours including break.
