Pool Technician
Berkeley Heights, NJ · Full-time · $28 / hour
Own water quality and pool plant for the thermal pools at Bathhouse's Berkeley Heights site, opening late fall 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily water testing and log all readings accurately.
- Balance water chemistry including chlorine, pH, and alkalinity to standard.
- Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, dosing systems, and related equipment.
- Clean pools, drains, filters, and mechanical rooms and conduct preventative maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain service logs.
- Collaborate with facilities, wet-area teams, and management on maintenance planning.
Requirements
- Two or more years working with pools, spas, aquatic facilities, or similar environments.
- Strong understanding of pool chemistry, filtration systems, pumps, and heaters.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation and benefits
