Build sauna components from drawings and manufacturing orders at Watkins Wellness's Cokato plant, the Sauna360 sauna factory, using saws, routers, planers, sanders and nailers.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate wood sawing machines, drill presses, routers, sanders, planers and wood-nailing machines.
- Work from drawings and manufacturing orders to determine the size and shape of each item.
- Choose the best material lengths for each task and take part in the department's quality-control programme.
- Follow the safety rules, report unsafe acts, accidents and near misses, and keep good housekeeping.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year in a woodworking or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Able to lift 30–50 lb frequently and 70–100 lb occasionally; some overtime.
- Blueprint and drawing comprehension and basic maths.
