Assemble, wire and test steam generators, boilers and related components at Watkins Wellness's Cokato plant, the Sauna360 sauna factory, and cross-train in sauna production during slower periods.
Responsibilities
- Assemble steam generators, boilers and related subassemblies from prints, production instructions and manufacturing specifications.
- Perform electrical component assembly, wiring and mechanical assembly on finished steam products.
- Run electrical and functional tests on completed units and work with the team to verify performance and quality.
- Cross-train in sauna production and support other manufacturing areas as business needs shift.
- Keep the work area organized and safe and suggest improvements to efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to two years of manufacturing, production, assembly or woodworking experience preferred; electrical assembly experience preferred.
- Able to read blueprints, schematics, work instructions and production documentation.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Able to occasionally lift 75–100 pounds.
