Cashier / Server

Run the food bar at Bathhouse Berkeley Heights, serving guests who stay for several hours across the bathing circuit.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service at the food bar.
• Take and process orders accurately using the Trybe POS system.
• Prepare and serve light snacks, beverages and grab-and-go items to standard.
• Answer guest questions about menu items and the wider amenity space.
• Maintain a clean, organised and sanitary service area throughout the shift.
• Restock snacks, beverages, utensils and other supplies as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties including cleaning, inventory and prep.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cashier, café or customer service role preferred.
• Comfortable using POS systems.
• Warm, friendly and professional demeanour with strong communication skills.
• Able to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic food-handling knowledge; food handler's certificate a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.
