Maintain the spring-fed soaking pools at Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort — water testing and chemistry, filters, cleaning and pool equipment — under the Pool Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all soaking pools at the spa and resort, the private pools and the sensory-deprivation pool.
- Test and balance water chemistry, clean and back-wash filters, and treat algae.
- Vacuum and brush pool walls and floors and clean pumps and skimmer baskets.
- Inspect pool equipment, respond to water-hygiene incidents, and find and repair cracks and leaks.
- Keep hourly, daily, weekly and monthly logs and report water quality to managers.
Requirements
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification.
- Two to six months of experience with pools or ponds preferred.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 100 lb.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; reliable transportation.
