Facilities Manager - Atlantic

Run operation, maintenance and repair at Bathhouse Atlantic, its largest facility: saunas, thermal pools, steam rooms, Russian banyas, locker rooms and showers, a full restaurant kitchen, and a heat-distribution system fed by Bitcoin miners. Leads the Pool Techs and Facilities Techs and reports to the Director of Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance work and projects, and run the Preventive Maintenance program across public and operational spaces.
• Manage maintenance contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders, and review vendor invoices and change requests.
• Obtain the permits and licences needed under local and state regulations.
• Control project budgets and report weekly on progress and profitability.
• Maintain the amenities, technical features and back-of-house areas, and the Bitcoin-miner heat-distribution system.
• Keep safety and sanitary protocols in place and solve the technical issues that affect the guest experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering or construction project management preferred.
• 5-7 years of leadership experience in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal building codes; Google Suite and facilities-management software.
• Knowledge of sauna, steam-room and pool equipment is a plus, as are Certified Pool Operator, CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Able to lift 50 lb; open availability including weekends and holidays.

Compensation and benefits

USD 90,000 - 120,000 per year
