BATHHOUSE
Facilities Technician
Berkeley Heights, NJ · Full-time · $30–$32 / hour
Keep the sauna, steam, pool, and building systems running at Bathhouse's Berkeley Heights site, which opens in late fall 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of interior and exterior areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC, pools, saunas, steam, plumbing, and kitchen equipment.
- Troubleshoot and complete repair projects efficiently and safely.
- Track and manage repair tickets and keep work logs accurate.
- Support safety procedures, including employee safety training and emergency protocols.
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and parts.
Requirements
- Apprenticeship experience in a trade such as plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work.
- Around four years of facilities-maintenance or building-operations experience; hospitality or spa environments a plus.
- Comfort with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs; Certified Pool Operator, CPR, and First Aid certifications a plus.
Compensation and benefits
$30–$32 / hour
