Supervise the overnight housekeeping team at Thermea Spa Village Whitby, part-time: rounds and inspections of the spa facilities, hands-on cleaning, and filling in for housekeepers. Reports to the Housekeeping Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the team through frequent rounds during the shift and correct work where needed.
- Inspect the premises against the cleanliness and health-and-safety standards.
- Clean the spa facilities: sweeping, polishing, dusting, washing and disinfecting.
- Keep equipment and cleaning products stocked; fill in for housekeepers.
- Help recruit and train staff and build schedules.
Requirements
- High-school diploma.
- Three years of hotel housekeeping or relevant experience, including one year supervising.
- WHMIS certification and health-and-hygiene training are assets.
- Outdoor work in every season and able to lift 50 lb (23 kg).
- Flexible schedule: days, nights, weekends and holidays.
