Set the editorial direction for the Telos Journal on saunas, cold exposure, materials, craft, and sauna-industry expertise.

Responsibilities

• Commission, edit, fact-check, and occasionally write approximately 20 pieces each year.
• Manage a network of freelance writers and set the editorial calendar with Telos founders.
• Develop accurate features on sauna materials, Finnish heater makers, cold exposure, and craft.

Requirements

• Five or more years of magazine, broadsheet, or considered-brand editing experience.
• Strong commissioning, structural editing, and fact-checking discipline.
• Comfort collaborating with writers, researchers, makers, and sauna-industry experts.

Compensation and benefits

GBP £52,000–£60,000 / year or pro-rated for four days

• Fully remote work within the UK.
• Full-time or four-day arrangement.
• Quarterly Cotswolds atelier days and editorial independence from shop marketing.
