Sauna Master (Aufguss Performer)

Lead Aufguss rituals on the daily schedule at Bathhouse's Berkeley Heights opening, guide guests through sauna and cold-plunge sessions, and keep the amenity floor safe and well presented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform Aufguss rituals for the daily schedule.
• Ensure guests enjoy a well-thought-out and well-performed sauna experience.
• Guide and inform guests on cold plunging and sauna sessions, covering health benefits and safe practices.
• Maintain dry, unobstructed floors and pathways to support guest safety, comfort and relaxation.
• Answer guest questions about Bathhouse offerings with warmth, discretion and professionalism.
• Collect used towels, water bottles and slides to hold the amenity areas to standard.
• Report maintenance or functionality concerns in the amenity areas, raising service tickets to the Facilities team.

Requirements

• Experience in dance, performance, martial arts, or another athletic or movement-related discipline.
• Experience in and enthusiasm for customer service.
• Physical ability to perform in sauna temperatures ranging from 175 to 185 degrees.
• Reliable, punctual and professional, with strong verbal communication and a calm, guest-first demeanour.
• Availability for a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
