Souschef der Thermengastronomie (m/w/d)

Run the thermal-bath kitchen at TAUERN SPA day to day, leading a team of about six through the self-service Thermengastronomie service while staying hands-on in production and on the front line.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Thermenküche operationally and keep the self-service food operation running smoothly.
• Organise and coordinate all kitchen processes through the working day.
• Lead, train, and motivate a kitchen team of roughly six people.
• Control goods, place orders, and organise stores in consultation with the Küchenchef.
• Uphold and check hygiene and quality standards to HACCP.
• Work hands-on in production and at the self-service front kitchen.

Requirements

• A completed Koch/Köchin apprenticeship or long experience in the trade, ideally in large-scale, thermal-bath, leisure, or systems catering.
• Experience in self-service catering and live cooking.
• A leadership personality with a structured and commercially minded way of working.
• Resilience during high guest volumes, team competence, and a hands-on mentality.
• German; English an advantage.
