Host, seat and serve guests at Two Trees Bistro, the restaurant inside Kananaskis Nordic Spa's indoor-outdoor bathing circuit in the Alberta Rockies.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests entering the restaurant promptly and courteously, and manage the flow of guests for the culinary team and servers.
- Maintain an organised reservation system and keep track of table availability and wait times.
- Keep the restaurant, public areas, service stations and storage areas presentable.
- Know the menu and feature items and answer guest enquiries.
- Take and deliver orders accurately and follow all regulations on serving food and alcohol.
Requirements
- ProServe certification required.
- Knowledge of local alcohol laws and regulations.
- Previous experience in a hotel position is an asset.
- Able to work a variety of shifts across a 365-day operation, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Part of the role is performed outdoors in temperatures from -30°C to +30°C, with lifting up to 30 lbs.
