Run The William Vale's seasonal Winter Spa in Brooklyn, a rooftop terrace of barrel saunas and cedar hot tubs: lead and train the spa team, run scheduling and reporting, and handle guests and incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, coach and support the Winter Spa team and run pre-shift meetings.
- Supervise, train, evaluate and recognise team members, training new hires on operating procedures and Forbes standards.
- Oversee scheduling, reporting and every operational aspect of the daily Winter Spa.
- Welcome guests and resolve their concerns promptly.
- Report all injuries to protocol and take disciplinary action when needed.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of customer-service experience and 2 years of hospitality leadership.
- Able to work outdoors in cold weather (snow, wind, rain).
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and to walk, stand, bend and kneel for long periods.
- Varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
