Market guide
Finding sauna jobs in Finland
A Finland sauna labor-market guide covering verified openings, manufacturers, design firms, direct application routes, salary signals, and Finnish search vocabulary.
As of July 11, 2026, Harvia's official Finland career site showed one live role: Junior Purchasing Engineer in Muurame with a hybrid work model. Harvia's Saunamyyjä role and Narvi's Myyntikoordinaattori role are retained as expired market evidence, while Narvi's January Vaihetyöntekijä role and Harvia's youth internship remain discovery-only because no current official employer or ATS application page was available.
Finland's sauna labor market is fragmented rather than small. Harvia is the structured anchor employer; Narvi combines an official open-application page with episodic role posts; IKI-Kiuas exposes sales and showroom, production and logistics, and technical-support functions without a public careers board; and Kirami adds outdoor-sauna manufacturing, export, logistics, apprenticeships, traineeships, and recurring summer-work lanes.
The design side belongs in the same labor map. Finnish Sauna Design by Saunologia works on sauna concepts, detailed design, materials, construction details, ventilation, and design review. Studio Puisto has an official general job-application channel and a substantial public-sauna and hospitality portfolio. Avanto Architects' portfolio includes Löyly, AITO Sauna, Sauna Kolo, and international sauna-hotel work. None had a current specific vacancy in the July review, so they are company and monitoring leads rather than active jobs.
Use Finnish titles as well as English. High-signal searches include saunamyyjä, hankintainsinööri, myyntikoordinaattori, tuotantotyöntekijä, vaihetyöntekijä, kiuas-asentaja, saunasuunnittelu, saunarakentaja, saunanhoitaja, saunanlämmittäjä, hitsaaja, särmääjä, pintakäsittelijä, tuotekehittäjä, huolto, kunnossapito, liikuntapaikanhoitaja, and uimavalvoja. These terms reveal manufacturing, technical, public-sauna, and design work that never uses the English phrase sauna job.
Official employer pages and recognized ATS pages are the verification layer. Harvia and Narvi should be checked first, followed by IKI-Kiuas, Kirami, Sauna360, Finnish Sauna Design, Studio Puisto, Avanto Architects, Kevyt Remppa, public-sauna and resort operators, and the Sauna from Finland member directory. A generic contact form or open application can support a company profile and watch status, but it does not become a live job without a clear role or hiring department.
Duunitori, Job Market Finland, Jobly, LinkedIn Jobs, Indeed Finland, and Academic Work are discovery and corroboration channels, not substitutes for source verification. Oikotie Työpaikat has closed and should not remain in active discovery plans. Broad searches must also exclude jobs where sauna is merely an employee perk and all massage, bodywork, facial, and general spa-treatment roles.
Sauna-specific compensation data are sparse, so use adjacent Finnish occupation benchmarks carefully: roughly EUR 3.3k-3.8k per month for skilled production or installation, EUR 3.9k-4.4k for engineering and product development, EUR 2.8k-3.5k for customer service or export coordination, EUR 3.7k-4.1k for marketing and HR specialists, and EUR 5.5k or more for sales managers. These are directional role-family signals, not promises from a specific sauna employer, and collective agreements may govern actual terms.
For legitimacy checks, confirm the employer through Finland's YTJ business information system when possible, then verify the role page, posting and closing dates, location, language expectations, work model, compensation basis, and application route. For non-EU, non-EEA, and non-Swiss candidates, a work-based residence permit generally depends on confirmed employment, so Finnish Immigration Service guidance should be checked before assuming a start date.
