Guest Service Coordinator

Run the front desk at Sauna House Austin North Loop, setting the tone for the bathhouse and keeping the space stocked, clean, and ready through the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide the welcome: move guests from the outside world into the bathhouse, identifying first-timers, regulars, and guests who need extra care.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and bookings with speed and warmth, giving accurate information about the rituals and treatments.
• Run check-in, check-out, and billing precisely so the transaction never interrupts the experience.
• Execute opening, closing, and in-shift checklists to restore the space to a 'day one' standard.
• Monitor and restock guest amenities through the shift and stay ahead of what guests need.
• Manage and create appointments to make the best use of the bathhouse space without overcrowding it.
• Advocate for the offering — sauna, cold therapy, and massage — and explain the reasoning to nervous or curious guests.

Requirements

• Notices the small things and acts without being told.
• A host by nature, treating the bathhouse like their own home and guests like personal invitees.
• Belief in contrast therapy and the willingness to keep studying the offering.
• Effective, empathetic communication with colleagues, management, and practitioners.
• Nights and weekend availability preferred.

Compensation and benefits

$20.00–$21.00 / hour, plus commissions and tips
