Maintenance Manager

Run day-to-day maintenance for the opening of AIRE Ancient Baths Los Angeles in the Arts District: the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and water-treatment systems behind the baths, the pool conditions, and the maintenance team itself.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance as part of the department rotation while overseeing and developing the Maintenance team.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out to company procedures and local regulations.
• Monitor the operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and water-treatment systems.
• Monitor pool conditions — temperature, filtration, cleaning and disinfection — for regulatory compliance.
• Identify repairs, improvements and investments; manage maintenance stock and coordinate external suppliers and contractors.
• Recruit, onboard, train and schedule the team; keep maintenance, safety and compliance documentation current and join daily operational briefings.

Requirements

• At least two years of team management and coordination experience (required).
• At least five years' technical maintenance experience within spa facilities or similar environments (required).
• Extensive electrical operations knowledge (required); facility-wide operations experience across maintenance, HVAC and water treatment.
• Pool and water-treatment maintenance experience highly valued; Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) a plus.
• Hands-on, proactive and detail-oriented; proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and maintenance management systems.
• Available for nights, weekends and some holidays; fluent in English.
