Perform and help create the sauna rituals of Thermea Winnipeg's new Rituals Program (German Aufguss, Canadian infusion, Latvian pirts, hammam and singing-bowl sessions) in one of two part-time posts reporting to the Rituals Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform the daily rituals for spa guests, including German Aufguss, Canadian infusion, Latvian pirts, hammam and singing bowls.
- Help create new rituals and bring practices from around the world into the spa experience.
- Take part in training, events, seminars and workshops at the spa.
- Keep the premises clean and safe at opening and closing.
Requirements
- Customer-service, wellness, performance (yoga, dance, theatre) or tourism experience is an asset.
- Interest in herbs, plants and essential oils.
- Comfortable working in a very hot environment.
- Able to speak and perform in front of an audience.
- Flexible schedule: days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
