What the work involves
Housekeepers clean and sanitize locker rooms, showers and shared areas, manage towels and laundry, and restock supplies through service. In a bathhouse the work is guest-facing as much as it is cleaning: many adverts include helping guests before and after the baths.
Cleaning and laundry are core bathhouse operations, and housekeeping departments have their own supervisors and managers.
Getting in: Prior hospitality, spa, gym or housekeeping experience is usually preferred rather than required.
