Prepare and cook for guests of Peninsula Hot Springs' geothermal bathing venue on the Mornington Peninsula, working across a busy kitchen alongside the front-of-house team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook quality dishes in line with the venue's menu and standards.
  • Work with the kitchen team to deliver a smooth service and keep the work area clean and food-safe.
  • Liaise with front of house on item availability, additions, and menu changes.
  • Assist with ordering food items, stock rotation, and stock-control procedures.
  • Keep equipment maintained and cleaned and complete service tasks accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a chef or cook in a fast-paced kitchen, with two to four years in the industry.
  • A qualification in Commercial Cookery.
  • Availability across weekdays, evening shifts, weekends, and special events.
  • Excellent time management, the ability to work to deadlines, and strong verbal communication.
