Lifeguard Attendant

Monitor Bathhouse Williamsburg's pools, hot and cold plunges, saunas and wet areas, keeping guests safe and the bathing floor clean, dry and well kept through day and evening service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pools, hot and cold plunges and wet areas, and step in when activity is unsafe.
- Squeegee floors regularly to keep walkways dry, clean and slip-free.
- Respond calmly to emergencies and follow safety and incident protocols, including basic first aid.
- Inspect pool areas, ladders, handrails and equipment and report hazards.
- Assist with water testing and log the results.
- Set up and tidy loungers, towels and amenities, and help with opening and closing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid.
- Valid Lifeguarding (Deep Water) or Shallow Water Lifeguarding certification not expiring within two months.
- Certified Pool Operator certificate preferred.
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Compensation and benefits
