What the work involves
Technicians maintain the systems guests never see: HVAC, plumbing, pool chemistry and filtration, saunas and steam rooms. They inspect, carry out preventive maintenance and handle repairs, often across evening and weekend hours.
It tends to be among the best-paid hourly work in a bathhouse. Adverts ask for trades or building-operations experience, and some name a Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) credential.
Getting in: Trades or facilities experience helps most. A CPO credential strengthens an application.
